The eID klient (client) by MV SR, NASES is a software tool designed to allow Slovak citizens to access and use various online services offered by the Slovak government. This technology aims to make it easier for citizens to interact with government agencies and obtain important information or services quickly and securely.

The software can be downloaded from the official website of the Ministry of Interior of the Slovak Republic and is compatible with Microsoft Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems. The eID klient works in conjunction with the citizen's National ID card containing an electronic chip, which must be inserted into a card reader connected to the computer.

Once installed on the user's device, the eID klient enables secure access to various government e-services using the electronic signature feature of the ID card. It also has features for updating personal data or checking if a card is valid.
